In 1794, Bishop John Geddes, one of our greatest Scottish Bishops, recorded a collection of his own memories, and those of others, recalling Bonnie Prince Charlie's 1745 Jacobite Uprising, and its aftermath for the Catholic Community. This present publication brings together a transcription of the original document with some explanation of the Church's situation at the time.
